Corporate Accounting Senior Officer M/F
THE ROLE
The role sits within the Finance and Administration Team and reports to the Finance and Administration Manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly closing adjustments including, but not limited to, capturing the following:
- Revenue and Expense accruals
- Provisions
- Prepayments
- Deferred income
- Depreciation and amortisation
- Management of asset register
- Preparation and issuance of customer invoices
- Management of customer queries
- Management and reporting of cash collection
- Support Finance Manager with preparation of annual budget
- Preparation of periodic Actual vs Budget reporting;
- Maintain the customer and supplier management system;
- Capturing of daily banking and supplier invoice journals;
- Management of supplier payment and cash flow processes;
- Coordination with tax advisor to prepare and submit periodic direct and indirect tax returns
- Prepare and submit periodic CSSF reports
- Support Finance Manager with the Company’s annual internal and external audits;
- Any other ad-hoc task that may arise to assist Finance Team to reach their goals and deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar Recognized Accountancy Qualification;
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role;
- Fluency in English is mandatory. French would be considered an asset;
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP. IFRS and USGAAP would be considered an asset;
- Competencies in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary, proficiency in BOB50 would be an asset.
