Gen II Fund Services (“Gen II”), a global leader in private capital fund administration, has strengthened its private equity fund services team in Guernsey with the relocation of Director Raul Ramos from Jersey, as Head of Private Equity Fund Services.
Raul has more than 20 years of experience across fund services, accounting and audit, including more than a decade working with funds in the Channel Islands. He has been a Director at Gen II since 2022 and previously held senior fund services roles at several major fund administration firms in Jersey.
The move adds further senior experience to Gen II's Guernsey team following the expansion of its regulated fund administration offering in the jurisdiction earlier this year. Gen II secured licences from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission to provide fund administration services for Guernsey-domiciled private market structures in response to growing demand from asset managers using the jurisdiction.
Raul joined Gen II following its acquisition of Crestbridge, where he had been Director, Funds since 2022. Before joining Crestbridge, he spent more than six years with Intertrust Group, progressing through a series of financial accounting and management positions to Associate Director. He began his career with SGV & Co. in the Philippines before spending almost six years with Ernst & Young.
