Gen II Appoints Ben Mardon as Head of Real Assets, Europe and Global Head of Partnership Services

26 June 2025, LONDON - Gen II Fund Services (“Gen II”), a leading global private capital fund administrator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Mardon as Head of Real Assets, Europe, effective Thursday, 26 June 2025. Ben will be based at Gen II’s Mayfair office in London.

In his new role, Ben’s responsibilities will include building the strategic framework for delivery and managing relationships with Gen II’s key Real Assets clients in Europe. He will also be a core member of the European Commercial team, supporting the firm's continued business growth, and will work closely with the senior leadership team to advance Gen II’s vision, mission, and values across the organization. Ben will also be at the forefront of enhancing Gen II’s operating model, bringing deep market experience to bear in optimizing processes, onboarding workflows, and investor reporting through technology and standardization.

Ben joins Gen II with over 28 years of industry experience and most recently served as Head of European Real Asset Fund Services at a large global fund administrator, where he was a senior member of the Global Real Assets Management Team, from April 2018. His leadership at this organization included global client strategy, onboarding model design, investor reporting standardization, and pricing innovation. He played a central role in managing complex global client relationships across Real Estate Equity, Debt, and Infrastructure.

Earlier in his career, Ben held senior roles at State Street, including Managing Director and COO for the London Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS). Prior to this Ben spent 16 years working for Real Asset Investment Managers and held operational and finance leadership positions at Savills Investment Management (formerly Cordea Savills) contributing to fund structuring and operational development and at RREEF UK (Formerly Deutsche Property Asset Management).

He is also an active industry contributor through his roles with the INREV Public Affairs Committee, (active tenure Jan 2022- Dec 2024), and AREF’s Finance and Operations Working Group which he joined in June 2024.
