Founded in 2009, industry pioneers Steven Millner, Steven Alecia, and Norman Leben established Gen II Fund Services to create a better way to administer funds. Today, Gen II has grown to become the largest independent private equity fund administrator with the longest-tenured, most experienced team in the industry. Unlike other firms, we are focused exclusively on private equity fund administration and utilize dedicated client service teams to provide clients expert guidance. Norman is Co-Founder of Gen II and has more than twenty-five years of experience in private equity administration. Previously, Norman served as managing director/co-president of BISYS Private Equity Fund Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The BISYS Group, Inc., a NYSE listed company acquired by Citigroup in 2007. Norman was also a co-founder of DMLT, Inc., developer of the leading private equity LP reporting portal acquired by eFront. Norman is a recognized authority in the field of private equity fund administration, accounting, and taxation.
Prior to BISYS, Norman co-founded DML, the global leader in private equity fund administration. He also served as an auditor and tax manager for the international accounting firm, Laventhol & Horwath. Norman serves on the board of trustees for JBFCS and the Dr. Robert C. and Tina Sohn Foundation. Norman is a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA, and he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from George Washington University.
Steven is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Gen II Fund Services, LLC, and possesses more than twenty-five years of experience in private equity administration. Steven served as managing director/co-president of BISYS Private Equity Fund Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The BISYS Group, Inc., a NYSE-listed company acquired by Citigroup in 2007. He also co-founded DML Fund Services, a leading administrator of alternative assets and DMLT, Inc., the creator of Investment Café – the leading private equity LP reporting portal acquired by eFront. Steven is a recognized authority in the field of private equity fund administration, structuring, and financial reporting.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bentley and is a certified public accountant (inactive); he is also a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA. Steven was appointed to the Bentley Board of Trustees in 2019.
Steven is President and Co-Founder of Gen II Fund Services, LLC and brings to the firm's leadership and its clients more than twenty years of expertise in private equity administration. Steven's oversight encompasses all of client service team operations for Gen II.
Prior to the founding of Gen II, Steven was a managing director with Citi Private Equity Services, Inc. He served as a senior vice president for BISYS Private Equity Fund Services, and he was a partner of DML Fund Services, a pioneer in the fund services industry. As a recognized leader in the field of private equity fund administration, Steven is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Hofstra University.

Tania Mavronas is a Principal of Gen II Fund Services, LLC. Tania has over twenty (20) years of experience in private equity and real estate industries. Tania has been with Gen II since its inception and is responsible for managing client engagements, fund audits, overseeing client deliverables, and reporting requirements.
Tania has extensive knowledge of Private Equity fund reporting, investment accounting, complex fund structures and partner allocations, as well as real estate investment and property management accounting. Tania has spent over thirteen (13) years providing accounting and reporting services for Infrastructure related funds, General Partners, Co-Investment Funds, and related entities. Prior to joining Gen II, Tania was a Vice President at Citi Private Equity Services, Inc., servicing numerous private equity funds with over $4 billion of committed capital. Tania graduated, with honors, from Pace University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting as well a Masters of Science in Investment Management.

Ian Cameron is the Chief Operations Officer of GEN II Fund Services, LLC and a member of the senior executive team at GEN II. Mr. Cameron oversees the Global Client Service Operations teams at GEN II and has responsibility for Human Capital Management, Quality Control and Enterprise Risk Management. Mr. Cameron has excelled in various roles in the Private Equity Investment and Finance Industry for over 26 years.
Prior to joining GEN II, Mr. Cameron served as the Chief Finance and Operations Officer for the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) for approximately 4 years. The WSIB has one of the largest state pension Private Equity investment portfolios with approximately $47 Billion targeted for investment in Private Market investment strategies. While at the WSIB, Mr. Cameron was a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Audit Committee, Valuation Committee, and Administrative Committee.
Prior to joining the WSIB, Mr. Cameron served as the Global Finance and Operations Director for the Capital International Private Equity Funds (CIPEF) a subsidiary of the Capital Group Companies. CIPEF managed a portfolio of approximately $6 Billion focused on a global emerging market Private Equity strategy for its clients. Mr. Cameron received a BA in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara and in his commitment to lifelong learning and mental agility has obtained certification in select advanced study courses offered by the Harvard Business School.
With Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2015, Raj has over twenty years of experience as a versatile technology and strategy executive, with responsibilities that include application development, architecture, infrastructure, and support. Experienced in executing initiatives to accelerate revenue growth and client acquisition, Raj has built a stellar track record on delivering innovative “industry first solutions” that firmly establish Gen II in the pole position among private equity service administrators. Raj is a thought leader and frequently speaks at industry forums, serving as a trusted counsel to Gen II clients and their investors.
Previous to Gen II, Raj held senior positions with increasing responsibilities: Citigroup, BISYS Group, Siemens, and GTE. Within the financial and insurance industries, he led architecture design and implementation for companies in the e-commerce space. Raj holds a Master of Science degree in computer science from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science in electronic engineering from the University of Bombay, India. Raj was awarded membership to Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honor society for the computing sciences.
Thomas serves as general counsel for Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. and has over ten years of experience in the private equity industry. He is a member of the Executive Management Committee of Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. and serves as secretary to the board, coordinating legal and regulatory responsibilities for Gen II's activities.
Prior to joining the firm, Thomas was Quilvest Private Equity's deputy general counsel. He also served as partner with Garson, Segal, Steinmetz, Fladgate LLP, New York, prior to his time in Luxembourg. Thomas is a graduate of Paris X University and holds an LL.M. from Cardozo Law School (New York). He is licensed to practice law in New York, Paris, and Luxembourg.
Alike in mission and action to Gen II, Ishita (“Ishi”) Shah's work has been exclusively focused on private equity and the methods that drive efficient, accurate, and quality fund administration.
As Gen II's chief commercial officer, Ishi oversees the firm's commercial strategy through new business development, marketing, and through the management of key client relationships. Understanding that both people and technology are critical to the success of the business, Ishi will also take up numerous collaborative initiatives with Gen II product development and client service teams to enhance the firm's dedicated service model.
Prior to Gen II, Ishi created tailored business models for private equity clients and their investors. She served as Citco's division head for their private equity business in North America and Asia. Ishi began her journey in private equity through JP Morgan Partners, where she worked as a liaison between the finance and deal teams supporting valuations, carried interest calculations, and review of financial metrics. Ishi holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Hofstra University.
Anne-Claire Berg brings to Gen II over twenty years of HR and business experience from a wide range of industries, including the financial, media, luxury, and food sectors. She is passionate about driving change and impact with and through people.
Anne-Claire's expertise is aligning strategy, organization, culture, and skills to foster high performance and sustainable growth. She is well known for attracting and developing talents and teams, fostering an inclusive culture of ownership and empowerment, and leading large-scale, complex transformation.
Prior to joining Gen II, Anne-Claire held senior positions at Danone as the global head of culture and engagement, the secretary-general, and the head of intellectual property – in the U.S. and in Europe. Earlier in her career, Anne-Claire co-founded LUXE.TV, the world-wide, leading television network dedicated to luxury and to the art of living.
Anne-Claire started her career at King & Spalding LLP in New York. She is a member of the NY Bar and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from New York University and an Executive MBA from the HEC School of Management.
A recognized thought leader on sustainability and inclusive growth, Anne-Claire is a regular speaker for high-visibility events such as the United Nations WEP Forum (Women Empowerment Principles). She is also a guest lecturer for Harvard University regarding sustainability and leadership. Passionate about joining forces with like-minded peers, Anne-Claire serves various industry, educational, and community organizations, including as a board member of the HEC Alumni Committee.
A seasoned fund administration and alternative investments executive with over three decades of experience, Robert joined Gen II in 2020 and is President of Gen II's Strategic and Digital Solutions Group. Strategic and Digital Solutions provides Fund Tax Services, Management Company Services and Digital Solutions such as Sensr performance and fund analytics and the Update Capital LP Portal.
Prior to his current position, Robert was head of Gen II's corporate development group where he led strategic acquisitions and partnerships for the firm. Since joining Gen II, Robert has brought his considerable experience to the firm's thought leadership, authoring various pieces on fund administration, ESG, and regulatory matters.
Prior to Gen II, Robert was CEO of Exchangelodge, a SaaS company that provides mission critical data management solutions to the alternative investment industry. Robert also spent twelve years at JPMorgan, where he held various senior positions within the Securities and Fund Services division, including head of U.S. sales; head of alternative investment services; CEO and founder of private equity fund services; and head of corporate development. Robert also spent six years at Deutsche Bank and eight years at IBM.
Marking his contributions within the private equity industry, Robert was inducted into the 2013 Global Custodian Hall of Fame. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University and his Master of Business Administration from NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Gen II's chief administrative officer, Matt is responsible for technology, human resources, acquisition integration and projects. Matt provides both strategic and operational leadership to optimize the company's organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and employee experience. Matt brings to the firm over twenty-five years of experience leading business functions, implementing and executing change programs, people and operations management, and systems integration in global institutions. Prior to Gen II, Matt founded MJ Management Solutions, a business management consulting firm, where he led various global projects for Cognizant Technology Solutions, Barclays, Sony, Avon, American Express, and Wachovia. Matt has also held executive roles at CLS Bank, Cognizant Technology Solutions, UBS, and American Express.
Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Business Administration from Pace University. His philanthropic endeavors include board positions with Pace University Lubin School of Business Alumni Committee and DREAM, a non-profit organization which supports inner city youth in East Harlem, the South Bronx/Newark.
Marlene is a highly accomplished finance executive with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She brings deep international expertise and a proven ability to drive performance and growth.
Prior to Gen II, Marlene was Global CFO of IPG Mediabrands and managed a multi-billion media/advertising agency budget with a footprint across 130 countries. She also held several leadership roles at Charles Schwab, including Chief Financial Officer of Charles Schwab Bank, where she managed billions in bank assets and played a key role in the development of growth strategies and client solutions. Marlene spent her early career with Crédit Agricole Bank, where for more than a decade she held positions in several international locations.
Marlene serves on the President's Leadership Council at The Asia Foundation, which promotes access to education and financial independence for women across Southeast Asian countries. She is also Board Director of NetScout Systems Inc (NTCT), a NASDAQ-listed company that provides service assurance and cybersecurity solutions. She holds a joint MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and Drexel University, a CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) accreditation, and a Series 7 registration. Marlene has also completed the Securities Industry Institute (SII) Executive Education Program with The Wharton Business School.
An accomplished industry veteran and known for creating corporate strategies within alternative asset and financial service organizations, Nikolaos (“Nik”) Perros brings to Gen II over thirty years of deep expertise in business infrastructure, business negotiations, and team leadership. Most recently, Nik was head of the Private Equity group for Citco Fund Services, where he was responsible for establishing and leading the firm's private capital global service offering. Nik also served on the firm's management team.
As Gen II's chief operating officer, Nik oversees all aspects of global client service and M&A integration, with particular focus on scaling client operations to further enhance the firm's premium, dedicated service model.
Nik holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Fordham University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

A credit and alternative funds professional with more than twenty years of experience in public and private leverage credit operations, Michael Abatemarco leads the Gen II credit client service team and drives enhancements for the firm's suite of credit services.
Before joining Gen II, Michael served as a director at Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon), where he led middle office teams that provided specialized, outsourced middle office support for broadly syndicated loans and private placement products. Prior to BNY Mellon, he was vice president with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, leading teams responsible for leveraging credit products, including broadly syndicated and private loans, as well as derivatives and mutual funds. Michael also worked for Sound Point Capital Management during their early stages and helped to establish the foundation for a market-leading CLO platform and credit alternatives business. He also held positions with BlueMountain Capital Management and Morgan Stanley.
Michael graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business with a degree in accounting and finance.
With Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2014, Ben oversees the Gen II Credit Client Service team. Ben has over 20 years of experience within the alternative asset management industry and over 15 years of experience in fund administration and audits of private equity funds, private credit funds, hedge funds, hybrid funds, and fund of funds. Ben has extensive experience with complex fund structures, financial/regulatory reporting, private debt, complex carry/incentive models, and various investment strategies, including buyout, credit, distressed, venture capital, absolute return, commodity pools and multi-strategy.
Prior to Gen II, Ben was a vice president with Citi Private Equity Services, Inc., where he managed a team that provided fund administration services to private equity, private credit, and hybrid funds for large institutional clients. Ben also had responsibility for quality assurance and compliance reviews of client deliverables.
Ben started his career as an audit manager at McGladrey and Goldstein Golub Kessler, where he led a team that provided audit and tax services to a wide range of private equity and hedge fund sponsors. Ben holds a bachelor's in accounting and an LL.B. in Law from Tel-Aviv University. He is licensed in Israel as a certified public accountant (inactive) and is a member of the Israeli Bar Association (inactive).
A principal with Gen II Fund Services, LLC, Chris has sixteen years of accounting experience and fourteen years of experience in private equity administration. Chris possesses extensive knowledge of co-investment funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, and managing fund audits.
Prior to joining Gen II, Chris was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting, LLC, where he managed the investor relations team and oversaw funds with varying investment strategies and a diverse investor base. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting at the University of Colorado. Chris is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Colorado.
Julian has been with Gen II since 2019 and possesses over thirteen years of private equity accounting and administration experience. He has extensive knowledge of venture capital, growth equity, buyout, credit, real estate, infrastructure, and fund of funds. Julian has worked on both the client and fund administration side of the industry throughout his career.
Julian is a certified public accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from New York University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Baruch College.
Phil has been with Gen II since 2018 and brings leadership to the firm's management company services. He initially served as the firm's managing director and chief financial officer. Phil brings over twenty years of finance and accounting experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Gen II, Phil held senior finance positions at Credit Suisse and at JPMorgan, including head of controlling, planning, and analysis within the Asset and Wealth Management division and head of finance for Americas Investment Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions. Earlier in his career Phil worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Business Assurance practice based in New Jersey. Phil received his bachelor's degree from Rider College and was a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey.
Coming to Gen II Fund Services, LLC in 2017, Shaun is a principal with over twenty years of experience in financial services, including fourteen years in private equity administration. Shaun joined Gen II with the launch of Gen II's Boston location and has oversight of the office's client service team. Shaun possesses extensive knowledge of private equity fund administration and reporting, with a focus on servicing for the firm's fund of fund clients.
Prior to joining Gen II, Shaun was vice president for the Private Equity Fund Services team within the Alternative Investment Solutions division at State Street. Shaun was responsible for the daily operations of more than 300 funds that held approximately $37 billion in commitments. Shaun also has experience working on regulatory compliance initiatives, specifically the implementation of AML/KYC standards across various entity types in multiple jurisdictions. Shaun received his bachelor's degree from Providence College.
With Gen II Fund Services, LLC since its inception in 2009, Alex has over twenty-four years of fund accounting administration, financial reporting, and operations experience in the private equity space. Alex is responsible for managing various private equity funds with aggregate commitments that are over $10 billion and brings to his clients extensive knowledge regarding direct investments, funds of funds, feeder funds, general partner accounting, complex fund structures, and financial reporting. Alex's primary focus is leading a team that handles daily client operations and deliverables, overseeing financial and investor reporting requirements, and managing fund audits.
Prior to joining Gen II, Alex was a vice president with Citi Private Equity Services, Inc. for six years, where he performed in a role similar to his current position. Alex also worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP for five years. Alex attended and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Yuliana has been with Gen II Fund Services, LLC since its inception in 2009. Yuliana brings to the firm's clients over twenty years of experience in private equity administration.
Prior to joining Gen II, Yuliana was a senior vice president at Citi Private Equity Services, Inc., vice president at BISYS Private Equity Fund Services, and director at DML. Yuliana has extensive knowledge of infrastructure funds, debt funds, real-estate funds, buyout funds, venture funds, fund-of-funds and secondary investments. Her expertise is in accounting for complex structures, setting up waterfall calculations, and leading the onboarding and transition processes for new clients. Yuliana is a certified public accountant, and she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Baruch College.
With the firm since 2014, Radi is part of Gen II's Quality Control team and possesses more than twenty-four years in financial reporting, accounting, and operations experience, including ten years of public accounting, fund administration, and audits of private equity funds, hedge funds, hybrid funds and fund of funds. Radi also has experience with complex fund structures and various investment strategies, including buyout, mezzanine, distressed debt, venture capital and real estate.
Prior to Gen II, Radi was vice president at Citi Private Equity Services, where he managed a quality control and compliance team responsible for reviewing deliverables prepared by other fund administration teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS, LPA/PPM, regulatory, and firm requirements. Radi was also responsible for identifying financial reporting risk areas and developing quality control guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Radi started his career as an audit manager with Ernst & Young, where he oversaw teams that provided audit services to a wide range of clients. Radi is a certified public accountant and holds a Master of Science degree in accounting from the University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria.
Ariel has been with Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2011. With over twenty-three years of accounting experience and over seventeen years of experience in the private equity industry, Ariel's deep knowledge regarding direct funds, mezzanine funds, and fund of funds has been instrumental to the expansion of Gen II's footprint in private equity administration. This includes significant contributions to client acquisition; management and retention efforts for large, existing client relationships; and developing and leading a strong client service team that oversees more than $80 billion in AUM.
Prior to joining Gen II, Ariel was a vice president at Citi Private Equity Services, Inc., where he managed day-to-day fund accounting and reporting for over 35 private equity funds with aggregate commitments of over $4 billion. Ariel has a Bache
Gene came to Gen II Fund Services, LLC in 2011. He is a principal with over twenty-seven years of public, tax, and financial management reporting and operational accounting experience in the finance industry and seventeen years in private equity fund administration. Gene's specialization includes direct and funds of funds with global leverage buyout strategies and investments in assets-backed securities, as well as employee funds with complex structures.
Prior to joining Gen II, Gene was a vice president at Citi Private Equity Services, Inc. While at Citi, Gene provided leadership for teams that delivered accounting and financial reporting services for a wide range of private equity sponsors. Gene also held a position as controller for a member of a NYSE firm, where he served as its financial principal. Gene received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from St. John's University. Gene is a certified public accountant (inactive).
Amber Koiner is a Principal at Gen II Fund Services and the Head of Management Company Services. She specializes in administration of management companies of private equity funds, overseeing corporate accounting and financial reporting functions on behalf of Gen II's clients. She has sixteen (16) years of accounting and administration experience.
Prior to Gen II, Amber worked at Golub Capital, a private equity middle-market lender with over $18 billion of capital under management. As Assistant Controller in the Management Company group, her responsibilities involved all aspects of accounting for its onshore and offshore entities. Amber began her professional career as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the audit practice where her clientele comprised of publicly traded broker-dealers, private equity funds, hedge funds, and their sponsoring management companies.
Christa Lee serves as a principal with Gen I Fund Services, LLC. Christa has over eighteen years of accounting experience including more than thirteen years of experience in private equity fund administration. Christa has extensive knowledge of co-investment funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, secondary funds, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, tax accruals and managing fund audits.
Prior to Gen Il, Christa was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting Services, LLC, where she managed the operational aspects of the accounting teams, directed the wire and investor database teams, acted as the primary liaison between the firm and the fund auditors, and oversaw funds with varying investment strategies and a diverse investor base.
Prior to 2008, she was an auditor with Ernst & Young LP. Christa is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (finance); a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond; and a Master of Science in accounting from the University of Virginia.
Tania has been with Gen II Fund Services, LLC since its inception in July 2009. Tania brings to the firm's clients over twenty years of private equity administration, real asset, and leadership expertise. Responsible for the Infrastructure Client Service team, Tania's deep experience has been particularly influential for the administration of infrastructure, buyout, and venture capital funds. With a key role in developing many of Gen II's firm initiatives, Tania has also been instrumental in developing and incorporating the service models for Gen II's Luxembourg integration and the firm's overall portfolio administration.
Tania's subject matter knowledge includes private equity fund reporting, investment accounting, complex fund structures, management incentive waivers, and partner allocations, as well as real estate investment and property management accounting. During this time, Tania has also provided accounting and reporting services for infrastructure-related funds, real-estate investment trusts and all related entities.
Prior to joining Gen II, Tania was a vice president with Citi Private Equity Services, Inc., servicing numerous private equity funds with AUA in the billions.
Tania graduated with honors from Pace University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting and a Master of Science in Investment Management.
Kevin has been with Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2014. He has over twenty-four years of accounting experience and twenty-two years of experience in private equity. Prior to Gen II, Kevin was a vice president with Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he focused on managing the day-to-day fund accounting and reporting deliverables of various private equity funds with aggregate capital commitments that were over $5 billion. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Binghamton University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from Baruch College.
A principal with Gen Il Fund Services, LLC, David has more than eighteen years of experience in private equity administration with extensive knowledge of co-investment funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, secondary funds, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, tax accruals and managing fund audits.
Prior to joining Gen Il, David was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting, LLC, where he managed the Allvue team and oversaw funds with varying investment strategies and a diverse investor base. David holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver. David is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Colorado.
Bryan has been with Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2015 and possesses over sixteen years of financial reporting and accounting experience in the private equity industry. Bryan has extensive knowledge of private equity, infrastructure and real estate fund accounting, complex fund structures, and general partner accounting.
Prior to joining Gen II, Bryan was a portfolio accountant at Starwood Capital Group. While at Starwood, Bryan worked on many of Starwood's real estate, hospitality, and energy funds. Bryan also worked for Kaufman Rossin Fund Services, where he serviced numerous hedge funds, fund of funds, and private equity funds. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of New Mexico, and a Master of Business Administration in finance and international finance from the University of Miami.
With over seventeen years of experience in private equity – including audit and assurance, portfolio management, and fund accounting services – Amy serves on Gen II's Enterprise Relationship Management Team and brings significant expertise regarding client management. Known among clients as an effective listener and problem solver, Amy's specialization encompasses private equity real estate funds, strategy, and investor relations; experience she gained during her time with Tishman Speyer, across multiple roles during her fourteen years with the firm.
Amy's career began with Deloitte in the company's audit group. She holds a Business of Arts degree in Business Economics and Accounting, as well as a minor in art history from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Amy is a CPA, licensed in the state of California (inactive status).
Michael has been with Gen II Fund Services LLC since 2011. Possessing over twenty-two years of accounting, reporting, operations, and client service experience in the private equity industry, Michael brings to clients extensive knowledge of private equity, real estate and infrastructure fund accounting, and general partner and carried interest accounting. Michael also has substantial knowledge regarding complex fund structures, Luxembourg and Cayman fund administration, Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds, and regulatory compliance that includes AML/KYC, Form PF, and AIFMD.

Joining Gen II in 2023, Michelle brings to the firm twenty years of accountancy and relationship management experience in the private equity and hedge verticals.
Prior to joining Gen II, Michelle was a managing director with State Street, where she led several different teams and oversaw funds through varying stages of their lifecycle – from startup to onboarding and through liquidation. Michelle is well versed in triaging complex issues and developing effective solutions with internal and external teams, bringing expedient resolutions to the satisfaction of her clients. As part of Gen II's Enterprise Relationship Team, Michelle will bring these skills to bear on Gen II's processes and work across the firm to elevate the experience of clients.
Michelle's early appointments with Bessemer Trust Company, Deloitte & Touche, and Lazard Frerés shaped her initial experience in private equity. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting from Pace University, with over 120 hours of continuing, professional education in technical accounting and finance.
Joining Gen II in 2015, Bo has worked in private equity administration for over fifteen years, bringing extensive knowledge of general partner accounting and infrastructure, debt, real estate, buyout, venture, fund of funds/secondary investments, direct investments, and feeder funds. Bo's particular expertise is accounting for complex structures, setting up waterfall calculations, and onboarding and transitions for new clients.
Prior to Gen II, Bo worked in diverse financial institutions that included Highbridge, Cerberus, and Fortress. She is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Houston.
Kevin serves as a principal with Gen Il Fund Services, LLC and oversees the firm's tax client services team. Kevin has over fifteen years of tax experience with an emphasis in private equity and brings extensive knowledge regarding taxation of private equity, real estate, energy and infrastructure investments, including partnership mergers and acquisitions and limited partner tax considerations.
Prior to joining Gen Il, Kevin was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting, LLC, where he oversaw tax services for the entire fund and investor client base. Previous to Stone Pine, Kevin was a member of PwC's WNTS Mergers & Acquisitions practice and Deloitte's Partnership Solutions Group, where he focused on complex allocations, technical calculations, and transaction modeling. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University; a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law; and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Northwestern University School of Law.
With Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2014, Jeff is responsible for driving the firm's business development and client relations activities. Jeff has over twenty years of experience in the private equity industry, including deep relationships within the private equity operational infrastructure community.
Prior to Gen II, Jeff was head of business development for PEI Media, a global information company and the publisher of Private Equity International (PEI) magazine. In this role, Jeff established the New York business as PEI's first U.S. team member, and he was responsible for PEI's Western Hemisphere business development across the private equity, real estate, and infrastructure markets. Jeff's contributions also extended to the direct creation and commercial execution of several key PEI products, including the annual Private Equity CFO and COO Forum, the PEI Operating Partners Forum, and the PEI 300 – the industry's definitive size ranking of private equity firms.
Jeff began his career at Pershing & Company, in roles that included equity trading operations, client service, marketing and business development.
With Gen II Fund Services, LLC since its inception year of 2009, Jamie has oversight and responsibilities for managing the firm's application portfolio, IT operations, and compliance. Jamie possesses more than twenty years of experience within the finance industry's technology space and serves as a valuable, collaborative resource for Gen II's client service teams and the firm's clients.
Prior to joining Gen II, Jamie worked with the firms Brown Brothers Harriman & Company and Accenture. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Science in accounting from St. Peter's College.
Megan leads the Denver office for Gen II Fund Services, LLC and brings to the firm more than twenty years of experience in private equity fund administration. Megan joined Gen Il upon the acquisition of Stone Pine Accounting, LLC ("Stone Pine").
Prior to joining Gen Il, Megan was a managing partner with Stone Pine, where she was instrumental in helping to grow the organization throughout her tenure. Megan is a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA and COCPA. Megan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Colorado State University.
Beginning her career with Gen II in 2014, Julie's particular expertise is infrastructure funds with complex structures, including blockers, splitters, aggregators, multi-level consolidations, complex waterfalls with multiple hurdles and special partner allocations.
Julie currently leads a client service team that is responsible for servicing some of Gen II's high profile client relationships, as well as overseeing the team's daily client operations and reporting requirements. Julie is directly involved with Gen II technology initiatives and serves as a subject matter expert for training Gen II's next generation of fund professionals.
Julie joined Gen II upon graduating Baruch College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Science in taxation.
A principal with Gen II Fund Services, LLC, Peter brings over sixteen years of experience in financial services and private equity administration, including extensive experience with system automation and integration, as well as operational efficiencies.
Prior to joining Gen II, Peter served as director of private equity administration for HedgeServ where he originated, developed, and operated the firm's private equity administration offering. Before then, Peter was a vice president and head of waterfall development for JPMorgan Private Equity & Real Estate Services. Prior to 2004, he was an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University, St. Louis, with concentrations in accounting and management.
With Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2017, Merryn has responsibility for Gen II's Quality Control department. He has over twenty-one years of accounting experience, primarily in the asset management industry, including sixteen years of audit experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers' national and New York offices, and Ernst & Young in London and Sydney.
Prior to Gen II, Merryn spent two years working for a boutique advisory and professional services firm to the private equity and real estate industries; five years at Goldman Sachs, where he managed a team overseeing financial and regulatory reporting for an excess of 200 private equity funds and fund-of-funds; and three years at Fortress Investment Group, where Merryn led the accounting team responsible for private equity fund reporting.
Merryn is proficient in GAAP applicable to private equity funds, private company valuations, and regulatory reporting. His expertise also includes re-engineering teams and processes, and performing fund administrator oversight. Merryn is a chartered accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London. He also holds a graduate diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Josh joined Gen II Fund Services, LLC in 2015 and possesses over fifteen years of experience in private equity that includes substantial knowledge of buyout funds, fund of funds, co-investment vehicles, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, and private equity fund accounting.
Prior to Gen II, Josh was a manager at SS&C Technologies, where he oversaw and managed the administration of buyout funds and fund of funds. Josh was also assistant controller for Black Diamond Capital Management and focused on distressed debt and buyout funds. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics with a major in accounting from Lehigh University.
With Gen II Fund Services LLC since 2016, Jon possesses more than twenty years of financial and reporting accounting experience and specializes in the private equity and real estate industries. Jon has extensive knowledge of private equity and real estate fund accounting, complex fund structures, waterfalls and carried interest accounting, regulatory compliance, partner allocations, and general partner accounting.
Prior to Gen II, Jon was a controller for GTIS Partners, where he focused on day-to-day fund accounting and reporting for numerous international real estate funds. Jon also served as assistant controller for the Fortress Investment Group, where he managed a team dedicated to the accounting and reporting of multiple private equity funds. Jon graduated from Cornell University with a dual degree in accounting and applied resource and managerial economics. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in New York.
Taylor has spent his entire 14-year career in tax compliance servicing asset management clients. Drawing on this experience, Taylor simplifies complex technical matters for his clients while ensuring their regulatory reporting requirements are met. Taylor possesses broad experience in the private equity space with particular expertise regarding fund of funds and secondary funds.
Taylor progressed in his career from tax manager in PwC's Asset Management group and then as tax manager with Morgan Stanley in Chicago. In 2016, Taylor and his family relocated to Denver where he advanced to tax director at Stone Pine Accounting Services, prior to Gen II's acquisition of the firm in August 2021.
Taylor earned a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from Marquette University. Taylor also holds an active CPA license in Colorado.
Michael focuses on data strategy from Gen II's San Francisco office. Michael joined Gen II in 2018 after spending five years managing an alternative investments client service team for Brown Brothers Harriman.
Prior to Gen II and his time at Brown Brothers Harriman, Michael began his career in alternative investments fund accounting and financial reporting at JPMorgan. He has more than fourteen years of experience in the fund administration industry and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
Joel is a member of Gen II's tax services leadership and possesses over fifteen years of experience in tax services.
Bringing a broad range of tax knowledge and expertise to the private equity tax space, Joel began his career with a boutique Las Vegas-based tax firm serving high-profile portfolio companies throughout their private, and eventually public, lifecycle.
Prior to joining Stone Pine Accounting in 2018, acquired by Gen II in 2021, Joel also worked for Deloitte's Partnership Solutions Group and the firm Grant J. Milleret CPA. Joel earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and his master's degree from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. Joel also holds an active CPA license in Colorado.
Joining Gen II in early 2019, Doug leads a client service team from Gen II's Boston location. Doug has extensive knowledge of private equity fund administration and reporting, with particular focus on services for Gen II's fund of fund clients. He brings more than twenty years of experience in financial services within the private equity administration industry.
Prior to Gen II, Doug was vice president in the Alternative Investment Solutions division at State Street and the former Investor's Bank and Trust, where he was responsible for overseeing services for high-profile fund of fund clients, as well as working with financial reporting teams and servicing hedge and other asset classes. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics from Providence College and a Master of Science in accounting from Suffolk University.
Coming to Gen II Fund Services, LLC in 2013, James is a principal with the firm and possesses over twenty-four years of accounting and reporting experience in private equity administration, including his nine years at Gen II. James offers his clients broad expertise across a range of asset types: buyout funds, venture capital, mezzanine funds, and fund of funds. Prior to Gen II, James was a senior manager at SS&C, where he was responsible for accounting and reporting for private equity funds with aggregate commitments of over $5 billion.
Prior to SS&C, James was the controller at Fenway Partners, a middle market private equity firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management. James started his career at PwC serving clients in the financial services industry. He is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Adelphi University.
Yeva has over nineteen years of accounting experience, including more than seventeen years in the private equity administration industry. With Gen II since 2016, Yeva is responsible for client service teams that operate from Gen II's Stamford and New York offices.
Yeva brings to clients her extensive knowledge of buyout funds, growth capital funds, feeder funds, fund-of-funds, direct investments, co-investment funds, and complex fund structures with multi-level consolidations and multi-tier waterfalls.
Before joining Gen II, Yeva was a supervisor at Citco Fund Services. Prior to Citco, she served as an assistant vice president at BISYS Private Equity Fund Services/Citi Private Equity Services, Inc., where she managed the day-to-day fund accounting and reporting of various investment fund structures for institutional private equity funds. Yeva holds a BBA in accounting from Baruch College.
Corey came to Gen II in 2017 and currently oversees a client service team for the firm's Boston office. Corey possesses more than nineteen years of experience in private equity administration, with particular focus on fund of funds, secondary funds, ESG reporting, GP stakes, and direct funds. Corey also works with Gen II's Luxembourg office on various initiatives.
Prior to Gen II, Corey developed his expertise at State Street, where he had oversight for a client service team. Corey has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Babson College.
Richard has been with Gen II Fund Services, LLC since 2013 and has worked in private equity fund administration for over fifteen years. He has extensive knowledge of complex fund structures and financial reporting, including onshore/offshore parallel funds, blockers, splitter, AIV, and co-investments. Richard is also experienced in setting up waterfall calculations, including multi-hurdle waterfalls with the associated catch ups for American and European waterwall structures. Richard's experience has been particularly valuable during the onboarding and transitioning of new clients.

Sundhevy serves as the chief compliance officer for GEN II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. Prior to GEN II, she was the financial crime leader at Nordea Asset Management, where she supported the development and implementation of the company's financial crime change program.
Sundhevy has been a member of the Association of Luxembourg Compliance Officers (ALCO) Board since 2002, and she is an associate professor of the European Banking and Financial Law master's program (LL.M) at the University of Luxembourg. Sundhevy is a graduate of the EDHEC Business School and she holds a Master in Business Law from the University of Strasbourg.
With significant expertise in business transformation, client services, and operations, Duncan heads Gen II's operations for the firm's Luxembourg operations. Formerly COO and conducting officer for International Financial Data Services (IFDS), Luxembourg – State Street's transfer agency business – Duncan was responsible for operations, client servicing, and managing business transformation, research, and development. Prior to IFDS Duncan was the chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors for State Street Services Luxembourg, where he represented the PE and RE servicing business.
Duncan has also been an active participant in various working groups for the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), specifically TERs and PRIPS and is a past co-chair of the Fund Distribution and TA group in the ALFI Digital/Fin Tech Forum.
Duncan holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Victoria, Canada, a Master of Business Administration from Oxford University, England, and he is a CFA charterholder and a CAIA charterholder.
Heading depositary services at Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l for all private equity, debt, real estate, and infrastructure fund structures, Xavier possesses more than twenty years of experience regarding financial reporting, tax services, fund administration, and depositary.
Prior to Gen II, Xavier was the head of investor services and trustee services for SEB Group, a Nordic financial services firm. Before joining SEB Group, Xavier was senior manager of trustee and depositary services for the Royal Bank of Canada Investor and Treasury Services.
Xavier is a graduate of HEFF Brussels (Belgium) and has been qualified since 2000 as a chartered accountant – tax advisor. Xavier is a native Dutch speaker and is also fluent in English and French.
Julie Makhlouf is the Transformation Director at Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. Julie has over 17 years of experience in accounting and financial services. She plays a key role on the technology team, directly involved with the development of new tools.
Prior to joining Gen II, Julie worked in the tax accounting department at Deloitte Luxembourg for eight years.
With over fifteen years of human resources experience in both talent recruitment and the financial services industries, Rachel McCorduck serves as the chief people officer for Gen II Luxembourg Services S.a.r.l. . Rachel's experience spans multiple geographies including New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Luxembourg.
Prior to Gen II, Rachel was at JP Morgan Luxembourg Bank for nine years and served in a variety of positions, including HRBP for the Benelux Region and business management/strategy roles. Rachel holds a business degree from Massey University in New Zealand.
With over twenty years of operational experience in financial services, Gareth serves as the head of Gen II Luxembourg Services' client integration and operational change.
Gareth started his career in Dublin, where he worked for the Bank of Ireland Securities Services. He then moved to Luxembourg where he spent over seventeen years with State Street Bank Luxembourg, State Street Alternative Investment Solutions, and International Financial Data Services (“IFDS”) Luxembourg. Prior to joining Gen II, Gareth was head of research and development at IFDS.
Gareth is a business graduate of the University of Limerick, Ireland.
With over ten years of experience as a legal consultant specializing in data protection and privacy, Eva is a certified DPO and serves as the global data protection officer of Gen II.
Prior to her time with Gen II, Eva worked for the legal department of Deloitte Luxembourg, leading the group's GDPR implementation and data protection program. She also held several roles in the field of privacy and data security, both as in-house and as external legal counsel in different countries of the EU. Eva also founded her own law practice in Athens, Greece. Eva is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and speaks seven languages.
Christophe Ponticello oversees Gen II's European operations, including the firm's strategy and partnerships with regional and local stakeholders. He brings over twenty years of experience in financial services and private equity administration.
Prior to his time with Gen II Luxembourg, Christophe served as a director at Ipes (now Apex Group), where he was responsible for the management of the client relationship and for the operational functioning of the Luxembourg office. Before Ipes, Christophe headed the private equity and real estate accounting team at Caceis Bank Luxembourg, where he helped establish the PERE fund administration department. Christophe graduated with a master's degree in management control, accountancy, and financial management.
Serving as the client director for Gen II Luxembourg Services, Paul brings to his role over twenty-two years of experience in financial services, including twelve years of experience in private equity funds administration with Quilvest. Paul participated in the launch of Quilvest Luxembourg's middle and back offices, for which he was head of reporting, treasury and control until 2019. Paul has extensive experience in various private equity investment structures with significant expertise in fund of funds.
Prior to joining GEN II, Paul served as an accountant and reporting officer with Bank Audi Luxembourg. He also worked on projects such as Basel II and local reporting implementations within a leading risk management and regulatory compliance software solution (Wolters Kluwer). He is a graduate of the ECG Luxembourg Business School.
Thomas Ségal is the General Counsel of Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. and has over 10 years of experience in the private equity industry. He is a member of the Executive Management Committee of Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. and serves as Secretary to the Board, coordinating legal and regulatory responsibilities of Gen II's activities.
Prior to joining Gen II, Thomas served as Deputy General Counsel for Quilvest Private Equity. He also served a Partner at Garson, Segal, Steinmetz, Fladgate LLP located in New York, prior to his time in Luxembourg. Thomas is a graduate of Paris X University and holds an LL.M. from Cardozo Law School (New York). He is licensed to practice law in New York, Paris, and Luxembourg.
