Brian Hong has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and technical accounting. He currently oversees the Gen II Retail and Regulatory Services team, where he leverages extensive knowledge in complex financial instruments, fund structures, and financial and regulatory reporting across alternatives, including private credit, hedge funds, private equity, registered closed-end funds, and BDCs.

Prior to joining Gen II, Brian served as the Head of Financial & Regulatory Reporting for U.S. Bank’s Global Fund Services, Inc.. In this role, he led a global team of professionals responsible for delivering comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting across a wide range of alternative investment products.

Brian began his career as an Advisory Manager at Deloitte and a Finance Director at Prudential Financial. Throughout his career, he has focused on buy-side and sell-side due diligence, IPOs, spinoffs, and other complex financial risk transactions and restructurings. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New Jersey.
