Coming to Gen II Fund Services, LLC in 2013, James is a principal with the firm and possesses over twenty-five years of accounting and reporting experience in private equity administration, including his ten years at Gen II. James offers his clients broad expertise across a range of asset types: buyout funds, venture capital, mezzanine funds, and fund of funds. Prior to Gen II, James was a senior manager at SS&C, where he was responsible for accounting and reporting for private equity funds with aggregate commitments of over $5 billion.

Prior to SS&C, James was the controller at Fenway Partners, a middle-market private equity firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management. James started his career at PwC serving clients in the financial services industry. He is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Adelphi University.
