He spent nine years at Angel Island Capital, a credit boutique based in San Francisco, where he served as the inaugural CFO. His achievements include establishing key accounting and operational procedures and contributing to the firm's overall growth. Nick’s expertise in fostering relationships with leading banks led to the negotiation of over $1 billion in financing facilities for portfolio leverage.

Prior to Angel Island Capital, Nick handled operations and accounting for credit, derivatives, and equity investments at Watershed Asset Management. He played a pivotal role in the launch of various asset managers by setting up their foundational infrastructure and served as a CFO for active management entities. Nick's professional journey began at Deloitte in the financial services assurance division.

Nick is a CPA (inactive), having graduated from Creighton University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on accounting and management information systems.
