Chris Alkema

A principal with Gen II, Chris has sixteen years of accounting experience and fourteen years of experience in private equity administration. Chris possesses extensive knowledge of co-investment funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, and managing fund audits.

Prior to joining Gen II, Chris was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting, LLC, where he managed the investor relations team and oversaw funds with varying investment strategies and a diverse investor base. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting atthe University of Colorado. Chris is a certified public accountant licensed in the state  of Colorado.

Taylor Graham

Taylor has spent the entirety of his 15-year career in tax compliance servicing asset management clients. Drawing on this experience Taylor simplifies complex technical matters for Gen II’s clients while ensuring their regulatory reporting requirements are met. Taylor possesses broad experience in the private equity space with expertise regarding fund of funds and secondary funds.

Taylor progressed in his career from tax manager in PwC’s Asset Management group andthen to tax manager with Morgan Stanley in Chicago. In 2016, Taylor and his family relocated to Denver where he advanced to tax director at Stone Pine Accounting Services, prior to Gen II’s acquisition of the firm in August 2021.

Taylor earned a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from Marquette University. Taylor also holds an active CPA license in Colorado.

Joel Hiatt

Joel is a member of Gen II’s tax services leadership and possesses over fifteen years of experience in tax services.

Bringing a broad range of tax knowledge and expertise to the private equity tax space, Joel began his career with a boutique Las Vegas-based tax firm serving high-profile portfolio companies throughout their private, and eventually public, lifecycle.

Prior to joining Stone Pine Accounting in 2018, acquired by Gen II in 2021, Joel also worked for Deloitte’s Partnership Solutions Group and the firm Grant J. Milleret CPA. Joel earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and his master’s degree from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. Joel also holds an active CPA license in Colorado.

Christa Lee

Christa Lee serves as a principal with Gen II with over eighteen years of accounting experience including more than thirteen years of experience in private equity fund administration. Christa has extensive knowledge of co-investment funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, secondary funds, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, tax accruals, and managing fund audits.

Prior to Gen Il, Christa was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting Services, LLC, where she managed the operational aspects of the accounting teams, directed the wire and investor database teams, acted as the primary liaison between the firm and the fund auditors, and oversaw funds with varying investment strategies and a diverse investor base.

Prior to 2008, she was an auditor with Ernst & Young LP. Christa is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance); a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond; and a Master of Science in accounting from the University of Virginia.

David Meyerchak

A principal with Gen II, David has more than eighteen years of experience in private equity administration with extensive knowledge of co-investment funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, secondary funds, complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, tax accruals, and managing fund audits.

Prior to joining Gen Il, David was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting, LLC, where he managed the Allvue team and oversaw funds with varying investment strategies and adiverse investor base. David holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver. David is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Colorado.

Kevin Zeman

Kevin oversees the firm’s Tax Client Services Team. Kevin has over fifteen years of tax experience with an emphasis on private equity and brings extensive knowledge regarding the taxation of private equity, real estate, energy, and infrastructure investments, including partnership mergers and acquisitions and limited partner tax considerations.

Prior to joining Gen Il, Kevin was a partner with Stone Pine Accounting, where he oversaw tax services for the entire fund and investor client base. Before Stone Pine, Kevin was a member of PwC’s WNTS Mergers & Acquisitions practice and Deloitte’s Partnership Solutions Group, where he focused on complex allocations, technical calculations, and transaction modeling. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University; a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law; and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Northwestern University School of Law.
