James Morris

James has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry with expertise in private capital. At Gen II, James is responsible for the ongoing strategic growth and development of new business across its European jurisdictions, building on its reputation for delivering high-quality, solution-driven services for fund managers across a full range of structures and asset classes.

Prior to joining Gen II, James was Commercial Director for Europe at Crestbridge. Before this, he worked for a global financial services provider where he was Head of EMEA Private Equity & Debt Fund Sales with responsibility for leading the firm’s provision of effective service solutions to its PE investors.

Richard Browne

Richard brings 25 years’ experience in the finance industry, with expertise in building, developing, and leading talented teams dedicated to service excellence. In this role, Richard plays an instrumental part in enhancing client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, as well as achieving operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the business in Europe and globally.

In his previous role, Richard served as Deputy CEO and Head of Private Asset Fund Administration at Credit Suisse Fund Services Luxembourg for the last four years. Prior to that, he worked as Managing Director, Director of Operations, and other roles at Citco Fund Services Luxembourg (and Guernsey) for 14 years.

Richard’s experience encompasses areas including certification of business controls (ISAE 3402 Type II certification), business development and client relationship building, upgrading platforms and implementing new client portals, and a strong focus on process efficiency and automation to achieve scalable operations. Richard received his Bachelor of Business Management degree at IT Sligo in Ireland

Neil Townson

Neil is a Chartered Accountant with 35 years of experience, the last 20 of which have been spent in the corporate services industry. Neil has been an FCA-approved person since 2008 and before joining Gen II was a director of Crestbridge’s two UK-regulated companies which were appointed to real asset funds with assets over US$25bn. As part of this role, he had oversight and monitoring responsibilities for several high-profile property development and investment strategies with assets such as office buildings, student accommodation, shopping centers, and hotels.

During his 20 years in the corporate services industry, Neil has acted as a director on over 200 vehicle companies involved in a range of structures and alternative asset classes including retail and commercial property, limited partnership structures, holding structures, and a significant number of securitization SPVs.

Prior to entering the corporate services business, Neil was the Finance Director of a rubber trading company for four years and before that, he worked for a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm in London and Sydney.

Neil is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He has been an FCA-approved person since 2008.

Matt Le Noury

Matt has over 25 years’ experience in financial services and accounting. In his role with Gen II, he is responsible for overseeing and enhancing operational expertise across the business’s European offices.

Matt is a qualified chartered accountant with expertise in private asset fund administration and accounting, as also has an in-depth knowledge of industry technology solutions. Prior to joining Gen II Matt was European Head of Closed Ended Private Asset Administration for a large global services provider.

Matt is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Gareth McKeon

Gareth McKeon is Head of Client Integration and Operational Change at Gen II Luxembourg. With over 20 years of operational experience, Gareth started his career in Dublin working for Bank of Ireland Securities Services.

He then moved to Luxembourg where during the last 17.5 years he has worked for State Street Bank Luxembourg, State Street Alternative Investment Solutions, and International Financial Data Services (“IFDS”) Luxembourg. Most recently he was Head of Research and Development at IFDS.

Gareth is a Business graduate of the University of Limerick, Ireland.

Christophe Ponticello

Christophe Ponticello oversees the firm’s strategy and partnerships with regional and local stakeholders. He brings over twenty years of experience in financial services and private equity administration.

Prior to his time with Gen II Luxembourg, Christophe served as a director at Ipes (now Apex Group), where he was responsible for the management of the client relationship and the operational functions of the Luxembourg office. Before Ipes, Christophe headed the private equity and real estate accounting team at Caceis Bank Luxembourg, where he helped establish the PERE fund administration department. Christophe graduated with a master’s degree in management control, accountancy, and financial management.

Colin Hade

With over 25 years of experience in financial services administration – including transfer agency operations, AML, registration, client services as well as operational control management and legal entity governance, Colin serves as Gen II’s Global Head of Investor Services. Prior to joining Gen II in June of 2023, Colin spent over 20 years with JPMorgan in Luxembourg, where he held various leadership roles including Head of Transfer Agency and Head of Legal Entity Control Management.

Colin studied accounting at the Dublin Business School and is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Michael Mekhaeel

Prior to joining Gen II, Michael was the head of the governance program at BBH Luxembourg SCA and a leader in the creation of BBH Luxembourg’s Depositary Bank function covering UCITS and alternative investment funds (AIFMD). Michael has been an active member of the ALFI/ABBL Depositary Bank Forum and co-chaired the other asset supervision depositary working group.

Michael brings to the firm over 25 years of global financial services experience within depositary services, governance, risk management, internal audit, outsourcing, and relationship management. Michael is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and a financial risk manager (FRM). He has also previously served a three-year appointment as the advocacy chair for the Board of the CFA Society Luxembourg.

Sundhevy Debrand

Sundhevy serves as the chief compliance officer for Gen II Luxembourg Services S.à r.l. Prior to Gen II, she was the financial crime leader at Nordea Asset Management, where she supported the development and implementation of the company’s financial crime change program.

Sundhevy came from Nordea Asset Management, where she supported the development of the firm’s financial crime change program and successfully implemented the AML/CTF and sanctions program.

Before Nordea, she was the risk and compliance director of Intertrust Luxembourg (a listed company and the second-largest corporate services provider in Luxembourg). Sundhevy also worked for Chase Manhattan Bank, Banca Intesa, Nikko, HSBC, and PayPal where she deployed internal audit, risk, and compliance programs, expanding her professional knowledge.

Sundhevy has been a member of the Association of Luxembourg Compliance Officers (ALCO) Board since 2002, and she is an associate professor of the European Banking and Financial Law master’s program (LL.M) at the University of Luxembourg. Sundhevy is a graduate of the EDHEC Business School, and she holds a Master in Business Law from the University of Strasbourg.

Eva Ntovolou

With over twelve years of experience as a legal consultant specializing in data protection and privacy, Eva is a certified data protection officer (“DPO”) and serves as the global DPO for Gen II.

Prior to Gen II, Eva worked for the legal department of Deloitte Luxembourg, leading the group’s GDPR implementation and data protection program. She also held several roles in the fields of privacy and data security, serving as in-house and external legal counsel throughout different countries in the EU. Eva also founded her own law practice in Athens, Greece. Eva is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and speaks seven languages.
