Jacqueline Kamitsis

Jacqueline has over 25 years of risk, control, and audit experience, having overseen and streamlined processes for several highly regulated organizations. Jacqueline leads Gen II’s Global Risk and Control Team, focusing on operational risk, quality control, process improvement, and implementation of regulatory requirements.

Before joining Gen II in 2022, Jacqueline served as an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Chase (JPMC) where she led a global team focusing on Risk and Control Management in Asset and Wealth Management as well as Business Transformation across Investment Banking. Prior to JPMC, she was a Senior Vice President at Citi where she held a few roles including leading a team to reengineer cash securities processing as well as leading a team to provide independent risk and control oversight for Trades Processing. She has also served as an internal auditor and an actuarial analyst.

Jacqueline holds an M.B.A. in finance and strategy from the NYU Stern School of Business as well as a B.S. and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University. Jacqueline is also a Certified Internal Auditor.

Ben Mazza

Ben has over 27 years of experience in the technology industry, working across multiple departments including sales, operations, marketing, strategy, pricing, product management, and long-term planning. In his previous role, Ben spent more than eight years at InvestorFlow LLC as Chief Operating Officer and then VP of Sales – helping the firm transition from a traditional software company with perpetual licenses and selling upgrades to a SaaS model.

Prior to InvestorFlow, Ben was COO at Investment Café, where he was the first full-time employee tasked with launching the platform into the alternative asset market, and then later scaling the business from a start-up to a global enterprise with offices around the world and a solution that supports thousands of funds. Ben spent over 12 years at Investment Café and successfully managed the firm during its sale and integration with eFront in 2012. Ben’s 23 years in alternative assets encompass areas including investor portals, portfolio management, CRM, fundraising, LP communications, and investor relations

Zhen Li

Zhen has over 18 years of experience in the private equity industry. She has extensive knowledge of Infrastructure, Real Estate, Buyouts, Venture Capital, and Credit funds, as well as complex fund structures and waterfall calculations.

Before joining Gen II, Zhen was an Assistant Controller at Black Diamond Capital Management, where she worked on Credit and Direct buyout funds and managed the day-to-day operations and reporting deliverables. Before Black Diamond, Zhen worked at Starwood Capital on Hospitality and Real Estate funds.

Zhen received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Analysis from the University of Albany and a Master of Business Administration from the Boston University Questrom School of Business. Zhen is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.

Matt Cammer

With over 20 years of cash management experience, Matt serves as the Head of Treasury Management. In this role, Matt is responsible for leading efforts to consolidate decentralized treasury functions, across the firm, utilizing a technologically advanced treasury management system to manage Gen II’s global money movement across the US and Europe.

Prior to Gen II, Matt led the Digital Banking Team at CoBank with responsibility for product development, cash management sales, and finance. He has served in various cash management roles with commercial banks, with responsibilities ranging from sales and product management to team development. Matt earned his MBA from the University of Dayton and an undergraduate degree from Siena College in New York.

Dima Kasaji

Dima has more than thirteen years of experience in private equity accounting. She has extensive knowledge of buyout funds, real estate funds, fund of funds, feeder funds, co-investment vehicles, direct investments, complex structures, general partner and carried interest accounting, and waterfall modeling. Dima has worked on both the client and fund administration side throughout her career, which gives her a competitive edge in understanding client needs and challenges and ensuring quality service.

Before joining Gen II, Dima was a Senior Fund Accountant at Saw Mill Capital, a middle-market private equity firm. Before Saw Mill, Dima was a Plan Controller Team Lead at EWM Global, focusing on carried interest and co-investment plans.

Dima has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Western Connecticut State University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Bridgeport. She is a licensed CPA in the state of New York and is also a member of the Accounting Department Advisory Council at Western Connecticut State University.

Phil Bruno

Phil has been with Gen II since 2018 and brings leadership to the firm’s management company services. He initially served as the firm’s managing director and chief financial officer. Phil brings over twenty years of finance and accounting experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Gen II, Phil held senior finance positions at Credit Suisse and at JPMorgan, including head of controlling, planning, and analysis within the Asset and Wealth Management division and head of finance for Americas Investment Banking and Mergers and Acquisitions. Earlier in his career Phil worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Business Assurance practice based in New Jersey. Phil received his bachelor’s degree from Rider College and was a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey.

Michelle Wighard

Joining Gen II in 2023, Michelle brings to the firm twenty years of accountancy and relationship management experience in the private equity and hedge verticals.

Prior to joining Gen II, Michelle was a managing director with State Street, where she led several different teams and oversaw funds through varying stages of their lifecycle – from startup to onboarding and through liquidation. Michelle is well-versed in triaging complex issues and developing effective solutions with internal and external teams, bringing expedient resolutions to the satisfaction of her clients. As part of Gen II’s Enterprise Relationship Team, Michelle will bring these skills to bear on Gen II’s processes and work across the firm to elevate the experience of clients.

Michelle’s early appointments with Bessemer Trust Company, Deloitte & Touche, and LazardFrerés shaped her initial experience in private equity. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting from Pace University, with over 120 hours of continuing, professional education in technical accounting and finance.

Amy Ruggiero

With over seventeen years of experience in private equity – including audit and assurance, portfolio management, and fund accounting services – Amy serves on Gen II’s Enterprise Relationship Management Team and brings significant expertise regarding client management. Known among clients as an effective listener and problem solver, Amy’s specialization encompasses private equity real estate funds, strategy, and investor relations; experience she gained during her time with Tishman Speyer, across multiple roles during her fourteen years with the firm.

Amy’s career began with Deloitte in the company’s audit group. She holds a Business of Arts degree in Business Economics and Accounting, as well as a minor in art history from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Amy is a CPA, licensed in the state of California (inactive).

Yekaterina Chmatenko

Yekaterina joined the Enterprise Relationship Management Team with Gen II after spending twenty-two years in various roles in the private equity space, both on the fund and fund administration side. Prior to Gen II, Katerina was a senior director and fund CFO at Alpine Grove Partners, a real estate private equity firm based in New York. With Alpine, Katerina was responsible for the financial reporting of multiple international real estate private equity funds. She also spearheaded the firm’s mentoring program and was actively involved in the firm’s Women’s Committee and summer intern program.

Before moving to Alpine, Katerina served as finance director for Cartesian Capital Group, a global growth equity private equity firm. In this role, she oversaw all aspects of reporting for the firm’s flagship funds in addition to the management company reporting, investor relations, payroll, and employee benefits oversight. Before her time with Cartesian, Katerina worked for JP Morgan Private Equity Fund Services, where she oversaw several client relationships and the reporting for one of the firm’s carried interest programs. She credits her extensive knowledge of fund structures, waterfalls, complex allocations, building great teams, and creating impactful client relationships to the experience she gained while at JP Morgan.

Katerina began her career in Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Fund (MSREF) fund controllers group. She holds an MBA with a concentration in accounting, finance, and economics from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in finance and marketing, Summa Cum Laude, from Manhattan College.

Michael Abatemarco

A credit and alternative funds professional with more than twenty years of experience in public and private leverage credit operations, Michael Abatemarco leads the Gen II credit client service team and drives enhancements for the firm’s suite of credit services.

Before joining Gen II, Michael served as a director at Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon),where he led middle office teams that provided specialized, outsourced middle office supportfor broadly syndicated loans and private placement products. Prior to BNY Mellon, he was vice president with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, leading teams responsible for leveraging credit products, including broadly syndicated and private loans, as well as derivatives and mutual funds. Michael also worked for Sound Point Capital Management during their early stages and helped to establish the foundation for a market-leading CLO platform and credit alternatives business. He also held positions with BlueMountain Capital Management and Morgan Stanley.

Michael graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a degree in accounting and finance.
